Delays
Unfortunatly I haven't had access to my computer for the past week or so. I'm still going to try to finish the Wantis before the deadline at the end of this month, but it may not be as pretty as I'd like.

Monorails and Names
The team I'm working with for the Doom 3 conversion, Recall To Hell, never really had a name. So after much debate a name has finally been decided on. We are now Grid Lock Studios. The discussion on a logo is still continuing on. For my current assignment I was given both high and low res models of the monorail players will use to get around in some parts of the game. My task was to texture it and Normal map it. This is the work in progress for the normal map.

The "Wantis" Spinquad Challenge
The Wantis is a cross between a Walrus and a Preying Mantis. We were given a front/side blueprint to work from. Obviously I still have a lot of work to do. I've been working in my free time over the past 3 days.

Monorail and Creature
For the Recall to Hell project my new task is the Monorail. It's already been modeled. My task is to UV map it, then create the normal map and textures The UV mapping is done and the Normal map is nearly finished.
Also on my plate I'm joining in on the competition over at SpinQuad.com. It's a modeling contest to create a creature based on concept art. The creature is a Wantis, a cross between a Walrus and Praying Mantis. Here's the concept:
